Historic Denver's Cultural Impact Award - 2016

In celebration of Historic Denver's 45th anniversary, five organizations were honored for four decades of service, in Denver, and for contributing to the city's rich cultural tapestry. The Colorado Children's Chorale was recognized for inspiring countless audiences, including youth, through programming that has withstood urban growth and an ever changing political climate.

Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts - 2004

The Colorado Children's Chorale was honored to be among the inaugural recipients of Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper's Awards for Excellence in the Arts. The award acknowledges the artistic excellence of the Chorale's training and performing choirs, the scope and quality of the Chorale's education program, and the Chorale's impact on building future patrons of Denver's performing arts community.

Chorus America Education Outreach Award - 2004

Each year Chorus America recognizes outstanding choral education programs that highlight the breadth and variety of choral music. The Colorado Children's Chorale was honored for outstanding collaborative work with local schools as part of its School Partnership program, a personalized, participatory program that builds strong choral music foundations in schools.

Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts - 1999

The Colorado Children's Chorale was the first children's performing ensemble recognized with this honor. Awarded each year to organizations and individuals, this tribute observes significant contributions to the vitality of Colorado's culture and heritage through the arts.

The El Pomar Foundation William I. Howbert Award for Excellence in Arts and Humanities - 1994

The Colorado Children's Chorale was recognized as a leader in the state's not-for-profit community as a result of dedication, commitment and a professional approach to meeting the needs of the people of Colorado.
